I'm Having a problem burning a .bin file to a CD.

I've just joined up to this wonderful board and hope to contribute to the scene sometime.

Well, my problem is that I'm having trouble burning a .bin file to a CD-R disc.

Alrighty, when I fire up the .cue file for my selected .bin file and do a test burn, it says the following in Fireburner. Here is the full info that I got.

I have no clue what the "medium error" might mean, as well as the "padding blocks."

Is there any way to fix/bypass this?

Any input is appreciated, except flames, since I'm such a n00b here.

I had that same problem with Fireburner, and I couldn't fix it either    I did burn the bin and cue though with CDRWIN which you can get here www.goldenhawk.com

right, use CDRWIN...it shouldent give you any problems

You can also use Nero - Burning Rom v.5.5.2 . I use it without any problems too...So, you have a whole variety of programs to help you Q)

Sorry about not responding guys, but I've been busy installing some new stuff for my computer.

Thanks for the responses. I will try CDR Win for sure, because I've used it before and I just love it. But I used it mainly for music CDs.

I think I wasn't able to burn these files because my old Hard Drive is corrupt. That might have been it.

I think that the best burning program is DiscJuggler... by Padus.. get it!!!..
